Fall 2021 - my first semester of photography
These images are from my first months getting into photography.
On the same day I moved in for my senior year of college (Aug 30 2021), I bought a used Fuji X100S. That X100S was my first camera. I loved it, with its 16 megapixels and its fixed 35mm focal length and its slow 2013 autofocus. I carried it everywhere, from classes to parties.
Most of the shots here were shot on that little X100S, except for the ones in nightclubs, which I took on the Fuji X-T3 (with the 16-55mm f2.8 lens and Godox V860II speedlight) that soon followed my X100S.
I’ve grown a lot since then, but I still look back fondly at these images. These early shots fueled my passion for the craft.
